You can also have two subs and use one terminal for each. You said that the amp can have two speakers hooked upto it, which is correct, but for subwoofers - not full range or component speakers. That amp has a built in crossover upto 400Hz, which is probably on and not sending any frequency above 400Hz to your speakers. Hence, you're not hearing anything from 400 - 20000Hz. As I said before, this amp is no good for your full range drivers. Also, because it is mono, you won't get stereo sound.
