speaker woofer covers?

i had a problem with my 6.5" woofer blowing out on my driver side and turns out its pretty rusted on the back of the speaker due to harsh weather. seems like when it rained, water ran thru my door panel and eventually got onto the back of the speaker woofer (not the actual cone)...damaging it.

where can i purchase speaker covers for this specific problem? im gonna order new components because of this and definately dont want this set to be damaged.

do i just cover the back side of the woofer and not tighten anything?

those things are gimmicks. I got some from cructchfield, hated them. They created a slapping sound whenever bass would hit.. it was the back of the baffle slapping against the magnet. I ended up using them solely as speaker protectors.. I cut the bottom and used them only to prevent water from coming in.

edit: i just reread your post. These will work fine for protecting your speakers, just make sure to cut some holes and let the speaker breathe.
