I am by passing my factory amp when I install a new head unit but the issue is that the jeep has 6 channels in it and the head unit only out puts 4. So my question is how do I wire this?
The front door speakers are original supposedly 2 ohms, the rear door speakers are new 4 ohms, and the rear sound bar speakers are original 2 ohms. I figure the fronts will get run off the front channel from my clarion cz500 but what do I do about the rears and the sound bar? if I run the sound bar parallel with the rear speakers if I did my math right it is a sub 1 ohm load, which I think would be bad for the HU. I assume if I splice both the rear door speakers and the sound bar together that is the same as running them in parallel. The way I'm ditching the factory amp is I am just splicing the in and out connectors together. The factory set up also only has 4 channels going in but as mentioned before the amp has 6 channels out. How I can I wire this with out blowing stuff up?
