Is it ok to run speaker wire and power wire together?

Can passive component crossovers be mounted anywhere (like trunk) or do they need to be close to the speaker location?

best to keep speaker wire on one side and power wire on the other side of car if possible to avoid interference, xovers can be mounted anywhere if you're willing to run the wires back and forth

I'd avoid running long wires to the speakers.

you're increasing the resistance, and capacitance by adding all that wire, which will effect crossover frequencies, and could result in noise being induced, especially for the tweeters.
