Alright i have a 2001 oldsmobile alero and i just need some help. I bought this 6.5 stereo speaker system and i was just wondering how to wire them up. They do not have any cords coming out of them so i need to plug my amp cords into them. But the cords from the amp are not long enough so i was just wondering how i could do this or if i have to rewire them... what would be the easiest way thanks.

That would depend on what you consider amp cords. Are you reffering to RCA cable or Speaker wire? Either way you are best to NOT splice, but you can get away with it. But where the splice is, there isn't going to be the insulation like the rest of the cable/wire and will be subseptable to accepting noise. Your best bet would be to simply buy RCA cable long enough to run from the amp to the desired speaker(s)!

As for how to wire the speakers in, that would depend on how you plan on running them off of your amp!
