1. Does 6 drivers @ 8ohm make a final load of 4ohm?

2. What if 7 drivers @ 8ohm, what's the final load?

3. Can I connect 6drivers or 7drivers on one http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=260-144 , i want 5 or 6drivers respectively play 3000hz and below, the last driver play all the above

4. How do I high pass the woofers crossed 3000hz and below?

5. What good brand of home audio amplifier/receiver are the best bang for the buck that does around 150rms @4ohm, of course more is better but i find that they are all expensive, and don't know what is good in home audio, I need something that will control gain/volume/hpf and eq if possible and aux input for connecting to computer for around 250$ ...

Well, there is two ways of connecting drivers together: Series and Parallel- Series doubles the impedence and parallel halfs it for every driver added.

**Edited due to apparent stupidity**

To cross the mids off below 3000, youll need a crossover that cuts them off at 3000

i dont know about the amp, shop around.

WTF are you trying to build? a line array?

you can use 6 drivers, and make groups of three wired in parallel, then wire those groups in series to get ann 8 ohm load... i think.

Then for the tweeters, use tweeters, mabye one, mabye more. then that crossover.

3.) Yes But wire to 5.33333 ohm

4.) Passive Xover called a Capasitor to high pass, inductor to lowpass

5.) cant help you there. High end Pioneer, Yamaha, etc....cant go wrong if you pay for it in most cases.

1. You want to use a 1" tweeter.

2. You want to use one Aura 3" high passed at 3khz ?

3. You want to use five Aura 3" low passed at 3khz ?

If so, this is a strange recipe.

Try;

A. Connect all the 3" drivers to do the same job.

or

B. Use one 3" driver low pass ~ 3khz. Use the remainder of the 3" drivers low pass ~ 500hz for bass support.

A or B depends on tweeter / 3" driver synergy. You have sensitivity issues to

figure out.

yes the 3" 's will all play 3000hz and below to 80hz

tweeter =3000hz and up

as for sensivity, i thought 6 3" would be enough to catch up to the tweeter ..it is not enough?

if I get 7 AURA and 1tweeter all in 8ohm, final load in SERIes, it would be 2ohm right?with box and all itll go around 3ohm?

Impedance rise is a little different beast for apps like this...not quite as easy for a subwoofer enclosure that only plays a narrow bandwidth.

The only way you're going to find a receiver that does a real 150W @ 4ohms for that price is going to be something vintage, and it may be just an integrated amp...not that there's anything wrong with that at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Often times you'll find it's cheaper to build high efficiency speakers and use less power. Thy takes that approach one step further and mates insane amounts of power to the already-HE system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That's not a receiver, it's a power amplifier...so you can't select different sources, change the volume, adjust any tone controls, etc. Meant for if you have a preamp in front of it in the signal chain - not to mention that $400 for that kind of power really isn't all that impressive.
