Speaker Wire Question

would:
18 gauge work well for tweeters (components)... i heard smaller is better for tweeters?

16 gauge for woofers (components)

12 gauge from crossovers to amp

and 12 gauge from amp to sub?

thanks all!
That would work well. There's really no point in running big wire for low power speakers. Bigger wire just makes the install a bit more complicated and you wont hear an audible difference.

yeah thats actually what i have, im gonna try and get more 16 gauge, its gonna be 150 watt rms but the tweeter and woofer won't be getting that together?

Yes they will both be getting 150; 18 gauge is too small. The signal is being split into 2 pieces (frequency ranges) not divided.
