I have 2 kicker ssmb6 that I was getting ready to sell. So I am hooking them up for the guy and one of them has no response at all. No noise at all. The other plays well. They have a total of maybe 8 hours of playing time. They was working fine when I removed them. They have been sitting every since. What do you think the problem is.

Did you throw a meter on the coils?
Red lead to the pos terminal on the speaker

black lead to the neg terminal on the speaker

set the dial on the dmm to the horseshoe looking thingy (ohm symbol) to measure resistance

Coils should be around the area they are listed

a 4 ohm coil will read somewhere between 3-4.5ohm . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
