Speaker Upgrade for 6x9

I have a 2015 4Runner (non-JBL) that I'm looking to upgrade the dash and front door speakers. Possibly the rear doors too.

Dash speakers are 3.5 and front doors are 6x9. Rear doors are 6.5

I was looking at replacing the dash and front door speakers with component speakers. However because the doors are 6x9, I don't see too many options out there. Either lower end or very high end from the typical brands.

Also, if I did install a component system, the tweeters would be face upward at the windshield. Would this be ok?

Or would I be better off buying coaxial speakers for the dash and doors?

Is it possible to build or piece together my own component speakers?

I am looking at powering these with an amp. If anybody has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

I got a pair of massive audio ckx 6x9 component speakers for sale if you want components.

U don't have to run 6x9s... They make adapters to fit 6.5" comp sets where 6x9s will fit so u have lots of options. For low budget I like Polk db comps.
Thanks. You have a link brand of adapters for going from a 6x9 to a 6.5 that would work for Toyotas?

I took a closer look at this and our Tundra speaker kits only need a different pair of adapters for the front doors to fit a 2015 4Runner. We have a kit with 6.5" components and 6.5" coaxials, or we can do just a front speaker upgrade. The 6x9s are a better way to go because the bass from the doors can be improved dramatically, especially once an amplifier is added.
