Speaker problems need help plz

I have 2 almost new Rainbow Soundlines Component Speakers and they were working great until i took my subs out and than they quit working. It didnt just stop all at once it started to distort than one side quit working than the other side quit working. Just the speakers the tweeters keep working but than they some quit working to. Once in a while i am driving, my tweeters will turn back on any play for me. Any idea what the problem is? Any hlep would be nice.

Any one think i blew my speakers or that my crossover are runined?

Check your connections and make sure they're secure.

I check my wires, umm do you think the problem could be my RCA cables? They looked a littel worn.
