speaker opinion

so my current door speaker situation is stock for all I know. in the process of building a sub box for a 10" gcon and in the searching stage of new door speakers front and rear. I originally thought about a component set up front n regular coax in the rear but then came across the crescendo 6.5 pro audio speakers/midrange....curious peoples opinions on them? should I run 4(1 ea dr) or stick to the original plan comp up front n coax in back?

I've been looking at 6.5's comps and coaxials for the wife's minivan. I personally wouldn't use PA in a car. Maybe it's just me but... The Audiobahn Murdered Out series is garbage. I think one of the better more affordable comps and coaxials is the Alpine Type R's. Also Polk db's, Infinity Kappa's and some JBL's. You can also talk to some vendor's on here about CDT's. I know mylows10 is an autorized dealer and I've heard good things about them. What's your budget?

i would say about 75-100 bucks.... i had cadence comps in my last ride running off just my hu and was impressed for the money i spent on them which was only 50 bucks....never got to hook them up to an amp. been eyeing the soundstream stuff since its in my price range.

i had some soundstream coax's in my car for about a week. they made my ears want to bleed and not in a good way... i switched over to the polk db & dxi's (6.5's) and i couldnt be happier. think you can find the db's online for about 70 shipped. I did compare them to others in the price range (alpine s, infinity, rockford ect..) liked the polks the best. put 50-60 watts on them and they sound great imo. and +1 on putting components in the front and coax in the rear.

ehh idk but how much you looking to spend?
say no more than 100 bucks.... nothing crazy etc

dont want to speak to soon but i maybe a owner of a new set of skar audio comps.....wont know til tomorrow(if i am i am if im not im not lol)
