Speaker help (troubleshooting)

Still having the problem of my left front speaker not working (rear speakers and front right speaker works fine).

I'm not too familiar with how to tell if a speaker's broken so I went ahead and took off both doors and swapped speakers and the right works and the left doesn't as before, so now that I know it's not the speakers what would you guys check next?

Don't know if this is stupid cuz I'm not too familiar with this stuff, but the next thign that came to mind was rewiring the HU so it outputs the left to the right and the right to the left. Is this just going through too much trouble? What should I try next?

Should I just rewire it so the R output goes to the Left? Is there an easier way so I don't have to splice the wires?

the wiring might be loose or something up front....or it might not be connected on ur hu...

Thanks for the advice, ill try looking around at the wires behind the HU tommorow
