Speaker grill for high excursion subwoofers? (RE XXX)

I have the older RE XXX, and I need a speaker grill. But the regular covers they sell would definately have the subwoofer banging into it because they only extend like an inch. What grills do people with high excursion subs buy that will protect the sub, but not have the sub knock into them?

These are great, but if the excursion on the XXX is similar to the rl-s then you might need half inch spaces with them to prevent the cone from hitting the bar

I think I remember someone else using those and having to add a spacer to things to make sure they cleared at full tilt.
