Speaker cutting out at low volume

I have a stock 2 way speaker in the passenger side door of a 2005 Silverado that would crackle and cut out at low volume, when I turned the volume up it would work normal. I figured it was a bad coil in the speaker so I replaced just the 6 1/2 inch speaker with a new one. All worked fine for about a month and now the same thing is happening again. It is just the front right speaker that is doing this.....any ideas?

check your speaker cable from the headunit/amp to the speaker for any cuts through the insulation

Ok will do.....the weird thing is it cleared up for a month after I replaced speaker...

check the speaker terminal aswell then, but i'd say it's a prob with the wire
