Southeast Region Southeastern Car Audio Enthusiasts

AR,AL,GA,FL,KY,LA,MS,NC,SC,TN,VA
I'm planning a new site with Grant (saywhat?) and looking for suggestions and ideas.

In the near future, I would like to be the first to start dB drag in South Florida, as EVERY event in Florida is 3+ hours north of me. I would like to start a successful site before I hold successful shows.

The site will be aimed towards the southeastern region of the United States. It will be a central place for posting car audio events happening, but nothing like you've seen before.

Lately I've been too busy with my own system and work/school to do website development, but I used to design/program websites for a lot of cash... I know what I'm doing.

I want to educate people, improve people's systems, meet new people, hold more shows... make the car audio scene A LOT more popular. Yes, it's a big project... but with interest, suggestions, feedback, help, support... it will get done.

Who's with me?!?

The site will focus mainly on south georgia, florida as a whole, south alabama, south mississippi, and louisiana as a whole for the most part, as that is where me and kenny are available but ALL southeast shows will be posted that we know about.

I think at the least florida and louisiana will have some success in getting shows together, but if anyone wants to take on the task of finding venues in other areas, then we can really get this going, and hopefully have plenty of drag events for everyone.

Yeah, and no offense...but...

Why does everybody think they can make/ think they need... A forum now-a-days.

You don't need to make a new site. There already is a site that meets all of the needs that you mentioned. It's http://www.FloridaSPL.com Check it out!
Hey Buzz! Yeah, I know about FloridaSPL... I'm actually redesigning it as we speak //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'm friends with Casey, and Casey knows of my plans for a "more general" site.
Please tell me you're not complaining about driving 3 hours to shows?
I drive an average of 8 hours one way for a show. I would kill for shows within 3 hours.
Actually, I wasn't complaining at all. I was just saying that I'd like to host some shows locally and get more people involved.
I plan on driving all around the southeastern U.S. for shows... driving to 1-2 Georgia shows next month, all 7+ hours from me.

Yes, as I spoke with Kenny, FloridaSPL will be around for a while //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You going to make those Augusta shows?

Joined on FLSPL a minute ago. Cant wait to make it to a few db drag shows in Jan and Feb. Ill probably only come to the Sunday show in Augusta though since my birthday is the 7th.

I love FLSPL so far...nice to see all the FL boys in one thread and a few competitors in my class. Kenny, we'll probably be at a lot of shows together. I told the woman that her car is getting plenty of miles throughout the season...
