Soundqubed HS2 12 Recone Question

This is just a simple setup for my buddies kid.

Wondering if anyone knows what other recones might fit this sub?

Corey and PSI don't really mess around with this small of a coil and we're looking to change things up a bit to something else.

More than likely, especially when we are using a soundqubed 2200 @ 1 to feed it.. it help up well, the coil is still shiny. He didn't have SSF turned up and it kept smacking the back plate and now it sounds terrible lol

Just get the HDS312 or hdc312 something that can handle that power or just wire the sub to 4ohm

LOL..She took a beating!! Ya.. as stated step up to the HDS3 series..or larger..There should be a sale by now on all the S.Qubed subs and ect. for the Holidays you would think??Ill have to look myself..been out of town and busy lately

Yes, she really took a beating lol... I was surprised it held up as long as it did. I've just got the hds2 here and figured I'd see about reconing it and putting it on low power. It's just a little 2.5" voice coil guy. He's got an explorer so I'm trying to convince him to step up to a larger sub anyway. Maybe now is a good time haha

I feel she would have lasted just fine if it wasn't playing so far below tuning. I mean, it was on this amp being played hard for a few months before the coil finally had enough of being smacked on the back plate. It's probably a good time to upgrade him to the hds3 though, don't care much for the c3 with their high ebp but we'l see

american bass xfl should do fine as well if you like hitting the lower notes better.

I actually have a couple xfl 15's in storage I COMPLETELY forgot about. Thank you x a million for reminding me. That saves me a ton of hassle.

Great subs too..My 12s are pretty rock solid.Im not sure Ill ever blow one.Sound pretty good as well
