Soundqubed HDS212 box size

Hey guys, I'm considering buying a Soundqubed HDS 12 or 10 inch sub, I used to have one of the HDC3 15s and loved it. Anyway, I have a 1998 mustang gt. The sub will be powered by a memphis pr 1.1000 so It will be getting 600 rms at 2 ohms. The box I'm planning on building is 1.384 cubic feet and will be tuned to 36 hertz. What do you think of this size of a box for either the 10 or 12? Also do you think the tuning is to high? Thanks.

Personal I'd used 2.25 tuned to 35 with 30in^2 of Port area..that's for the 12..

Thanks, i've heard that soundqubed enjoys the big boxes. I'm aware this is probably a really dumb question, but what does the 30in^2 of port area mean exactly?

Port dimensions like 3 width 10 height. 3 x 10 =30 sq inches.
