Soundqubed Amps?

I seen that in this forum they are popular but I just seen a video "Hifonics BRZ-2400.1D VS Soundqubed Q1-2200D" where they perform almost the same. Is hifonics a good company or is sounqubed overhyped?

Kind of a loaded question. While those 2 amps are largely the same, it's hard to compare SQ and Hifonics. Hifonics makes way more stuff than soundqubed. Soundqubed is consistently solid with some of the best bang for the buck in the industry across all product lines. They have 4 subwoofer lines, all of which are solid and they make only 5 different amps or so - all of them are solid. In this particular case, yes, you're better off getting the Hifonics because it's about $150 cheaper. Soundqubed is not overhyped. Hifonics has some decent stuff and they also have some crappy stuff. Soundqubed doesn't have crappy stuff. Not too sure about their 6'5" comps, have heard mixed things, but hey - they're $100!
