ppi ba5000.1d, ppi ba7000.1d 2 ohm rating?

Does any ones know if the 2 ohm ratings for the ppi ba5000.1d and ppi ba7000.1d is correct The Ppi ba5000.1d puts out more at 2 ohms?

Thats good to know. What numbers did you get when you tested those amps? Any recommendation on an amp that will do 1,500-2,000 rms @ 2ohms?

Wouldn't waste money on testing them but I am sure they have been benched by someone do a search... Budget?? I assume cheap as u are looking at these?

Im thinking something around $800. but if i can find something cheaper that puts out a good amount of clean power i would go with it.

Alpine MRX. Way less than $800 and does what it says

the 7000 put out around 2500w with battery voltage, itd be closer to 3k at 14.4v. but that was wired low with a burp, you might get 2k out of it on music with a half ohm load

yup that right.

it puts out good power. helll it ripping my truck up . i have the 7000 on a hdc3 15"

i like it, worth the money.

but if you have 800 to spend on a good amp, i want a sq 2200 amp.

or you can get the bigger one for 800.

i want to get all sq amps. right now i have 1 and love it.

so if you want to spend the least get the ppi 7000 . if you want better for more look into the sq amps.

look at it for what it is, a budget amp.

anyone will bash an amp thats half the price of a real 3k amp.

tbh id probably get a crescendo bc2000 before the sq, but sq is a lot more promoted by people on this forum so its really a matter of opinion.

all the top names are good, just depends on what you want and how much money you really want to spend.

i recommend ppi and sq because i use them and they do me good for the price.

in saying that, if i had money i would be getting some dd stuff.....
