SounDigital 12kD released

About the inputs,

you probably will have a battery near the amp, so if you have short runs of 0 AWG it wont be a issue, remember that the resistance of the cable depends on the area, resistivity of material (copper) and the length of it.

How can that Board Handle 1200 amps? Ok it know it wont see anywhere near that long term but even 700-800 amps. I didnt think thin boards could handle so high of amperage. I mean take a look at the Kicker Warhorse. It has huge copper buss bars in it and thats only a 10,000 watt amp.... Please explain. Is the board like 1/4 thick?

0 gauge isn't meant to support 600 amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
i'm not trying to bash but 12k from 2 pairs of 1/0 inputs doesn't make much sense. .. especially if there intended to be used daily.
Thats a question I had, but I wasnt to intelligent on asking it.

All of my amps have dual inputs... and put out WAY less power..

You have to HAVE power to make POWER

dB don clamped more than 13kW, Mike and Mark (the twins that have a Extreme ccompetition car) clamped (I remember, 12970W at 1.7ohms and 15.08V) and at this time they were using Stetsom.

We have a mainly trick on the board to allow the 1000A flow, and I prefer to not write here, because is related to the PCB layout, and another thing is that we use a 3mm thick solder reinforcement on the 12V rail, under the board.

I cant explain why the kicker amp only outputs 10.000W hehe.

If thats the case, someone better tell the Super Stock competitors like Bob Perillo that he can't get 900-1000 amps through his 0 ga runs, like he does.

one of my thoughts tho honestly

i'm talking about daily, on music.
Well, if you are listening to music your average current (considering a loss-less battery bank and a minimal fixed impedance load, two things that we wont have) at full power will be 10 to 40% of the maximum current (10 to 20% for normal music and 40% for a BASS HEAD CD CRAZY DEEP BASS hehe), it will depend on the crest factor of the music being played.
