Well, they are TC Sounds built, and based off of previous TC Sounds designs (the Rl-i appears to be exactly a TC2+ by looking at the specs they both list, and the Rl-p is based off of the TC9). So, you know they will be solid performing, solidly built products just when given those two facts.
correct!! i do believe the rl-p has been tweaked some, but i'm not for sure.
currently i run a rl-p12 in a 1.25^3 sealed box off a hifonics nemesis nx750d @ 1 ohm. this thing sounds awesome! not only is the sq better then any sub i've ever owned, but it gets loud! and by using a factory gm h/u, i'm holding the thing back.
just a tidbit.....the bass on the h/u is set to 1 outa 6 (the factories don't like much more then 4), the gain is set about halfway, the boost is off and the LOC gain is halfway and it beats hard enuff my wife usually doesn't turn the amp on!
this thing kicks the hell outa metallica, korn and slipknot. then it booms away with 3-6 mafia, lil john and lil whyte. garth(brooks) sounds like he's in the back seat punching u in the chest.
there is nothing it won't reproduce!
