they would be awesome sq subs. You might be better off price wise getting one ported 12 RL-P, or look at tcsounds.com also, which is the company that makes SS. the tc1000 is very similar and a little less expensive.

 
I would go with Soundsplinter on principle alone.
I feel what TC sounds did to Soundsplinter and the rest of their dealers is inexcusable. If I were Mike at soundsplinter I would be furious.
It's a family thing, so I think that's what keeps him from flipping out.

I would vote for SoundSplinter as well.
