hey I am getting money for subs soon and I was thinking about going with 2 10" Rl-i's for a sq setup, do you have any info whether these are good sq subs or are there better sq subs from SS

they would be awesome sq subs. You might be better off price wise getting one ported 12 RL-P, or look at tcsounds.com also, which is the company that makes SS. the tc1000 is very similar and a little less expensive.

I would go with Soundsplinter on principle alone.

I feel what TC sounds did to Soundsplinter and the rest of their dealers is inexcusable. If I were Mike at soundsplinter I would be furious.

It's a family thing, so I think that's what keeps him from flipping out.

I would vote for SoundSplinter as well.

Yes. Simply fantastic linear BL, which translates into very low distortion.

what happened ?

TC sounds started selling direct. Undercutting their dealer network. Also I wouldn't be happy if I were Eclipse either. Especially since they sold drivers with Eclipse cones to people that had not bought an eclipse product.

Just something that I didn't like.

They had problems with aluminum cones, but that was fixed.
