The new type R can handle alot more the 500 rms. I have 550 to each one of mine. I do like uber dbs! Shakes my little nutz anyway!

yeah I sent them an email, but I thought I might get an answer on here faster.

You must really doubt Mike's customer service. He answers his e-mails quick. Actually, I just e-mailed him last night because I want an rl-i 8 for my home theater. This is what he sent me.

The baskets, which have been the major holdup over the last two months, arefinally on their way. Unfortunately, they are coming from overseas, so it

could be a little while longer. At this point, it is stackin' up to be

between 2 and 4 weeks before the new RL-i8's are ready to ship - so

hopefully you should be able to have one in your hands before the holidays

if everything goes as planned (which is never guaranteed in this business
