3 xxx 18's sealed or 2 ported

I actually have 4 xxx 18's.

The car is a lincoln LS. The trunck space in 14.5 cubes

I was thinking 3 sealed.... 4 cu ft each. each off a orion 2500d

I was thinkig if it would be possible to fit the forth then i would do it.

Or

2 ported...7.2 cubes uned 28

I would do the two ported, it will still be insanely loud.

none of your options will fit. 7.2 cubes is internal volume so when you add port displacement, especially tuned to 28 hz. and about 100 sq. in. of port you have an external dimesnion of 10 cubes per sub. what kind of power do you have?

i was thinking of taking out the back dash and having the whole trunk as a shared enclosure sealed. So the subs would be facing up into the roof of the car on the inside. and the whole trunk is the enclosure

well to properly port them, you need 20 cubes of space in your trunk. 4 sealed would be 16 cubes net, plus the driver displacement, and wood and you are looking at close to 20 cubes again.

That's right, you're trying to stuff them in there. They won't be able do breathe at all.

I cant sell them. I need to SLAM with these. Some one make this work. Il take out cutomize the back seat..LOL

I'll get rid of one or two if I really cant figure out. But I was robbed 350 last time i made a deal on here. So anything will be off the site by phone or local pick up.
