i seem to have grown a interest in ss rl-p 15's but how do they compare to 13w7's and 15 l7's?out of the 3 ive only owned w7's so i know what they can do,but would a rl-p 15 hit just has hard?i really dont wana step down

I tested the MAG proto, flat out awesome, shot a video that is up on ROE, very well built driver, can take a ton of power but is very efficent at the same time, a competitor noted that in a straight drop in the MAGs were louder than SX's (in an SX box), great quality woofer with enclosure flexiability,

 

I love my RL-p, the TC9 motor is very nice, for a ported box SQ sub, it is near impossible to beat for the price, with all out power the MAG will have more output, but both have excellent SQ in my testing, I have not tested my RL-p in a smaller ported box because I love the way it peforms in the 2.0 @ 27hz box it is in now, I feel both are worth the money, both SI and SS have top of the heap customer service,

 

put it this way... I love my RL-p it is in my SQ competition project, and I want a pair of MAG's for my truck, I love them both, if forced to go sealed then I feel the MAG is the choice, if you want to save some money and want ported output the RL-p is very capable, both are high end SQ drivers with great output, hope that helps some

in head to head, MAG v W7, I prefer the sound of the MAG, (my ears) over the W7, the MAG is easier to install, and the price is better,

 

will the MAG pwn a RL-p? No, but it will handle more power and potentially get louder

thx a lot man. Good to hear from people who have really had time with all the woofers. If I decide to go w/ 2 sealed and am not pleased with the rlps I just might have to look into the mags //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

I love the way the MAG played ported and many have raved about its performance sealed,

 

I have not tryed my RL-p sealed, it really specs towards ported, but plenty of people love it sealed

are you looking for sheer output? how much power, and do you plan to do ported or sealed?

sorry to post jack but I have the same ? I have 1.25cf sealed for a 12" sub and 1000 wates witch will be better the mag or the rlp or the IDMax I don't wont to go with JL audio because a lot of people hear have them and I wont to be different thanks for the help
