Well I really don't want to buy anything used as of now. So what kinda amp do you guys think would power it sufficently?

Id go with a Diamond Audio 1500.1 800-850 watts per sub at around 14.4 volts, which is more than enough.

that diamond amp actually does 1500 at voltages from approx 12 to almost 15 volts? i'm not sure, but the power supply is completely regulated.
