sound shape stock HU

Heres the set-up....I got a line out in stock HU rear wires for amp and (2 ) 12's, how can I get sound shaping capabilities other than the fade , like an eq ....etc and still keep HU?

Attach the line-out converter to the speaker outputs at the rear of the headunit rather than tapping into the wires where they attach to the rear speakers.

Then the signal chain could be Factory HU--> EQ/Processor--> Outboard amplification--> Speakers/Subwoofers

oh OK.. sounds like your 1st sentence says the same thing twice...i do have the LOC to the speaker outputs LR+-/RR+-, then amp, then subs . Good, as long as i do not need a new HU or another LOC

Your signal chain makes sense....The reason is I have an 06 mitsu Endeavor *WACK hu DESIGN* I dont have the money for a custom bezel. So i am workin with what i got, Thanks for your advice,prowler........any more is appreciated!
