Sound Problem

A couple of days ago I installed a JBL 1200 and 2 Audiobahn 15"s. I was so excited when I finally put them in because this is my first setup and I installed everything myself. Well, after about two minutes I was pretty let down because I have a giant rattle trap now! I was shocked in a way because I thought since my gain on the amp is all the way down and since I can't turn it up very loud because my electrical sucks, it wouldn't rattle my car that bad. WRONG! Now I am saving up for some Fatmat. So I was just curious, how much sound deadener would I need to do my hole car(96 Blazer)? How much just for my cargo area, since it rattles the worst?

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Yep, (2) 15"s push a lot of air. Fatmat is good, but before getting it you should ask Second Skin what kind of deal he can offer you. I think Ive seen him posting on this forum every once in awhile.

BTW you can eliminate a lot of rattle by paying particular attention to your license plate and fixtures around your tail lights. Spray some expanding foam in there to keep them from rattling.

For Second Skin PM Ifandofbuts. Also try foam padding in the pannels and behind upholstry. Wal-mart-bedding section.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
