Sound not traveling through seats

Ok guys I have a 2013 Buick Verano and I can barley hear any bass in my system with the seats up.

When I put it down it sounds a lot better. I was wonder If I should add more power? change up the box? Get bigger subs?

I have 2 10' Rockford p3's running about 250w eat in a sealed enclosure.

Would I have better luck with 12' or maybe a 15? I just dont like riding with my back seat down all the time but right now its a must

Dothe rear seats have a armrest? U can do a ported box thru it ...ur not gona get a ton of output on that power seats up or down..or u can maybe port thru the rear deck ..its just not a big deal or worth the trouble to most i run 5000rms and always have my seats down

Yea i really miss my RD audio set up i shouldnt have sold it but the p3s give good quality sound I just dont want to blow them they are rated for 500w rms you think I should start off with a bigger amp? Or a Tuned ported box? And the leather is very thick with the seats I think it may be sound deading material???

Yea i just want to keep these subs this summer I may ditch them for some real subs but i dont want to fork over that kind of money right now

I've never thought of a port thru the rear deck, thank you for the idea

Ok so it appears my subs are wired on my 2 channel amp recieving 250w rms at 4ohms each, IF i bridge the subs to 4ohms the am will run at 1000w rms giving me double the power??

here is the specs of my amp

2x 500 2ohm

2x 250 x 4 ohm

1x1000 4ohms bridged

Some people think it's a bad idea to run two different speaker lines out of same same output but you could do. I have in the past
