Sound Leakage in Vintage Car?

I've done a lot of installs in older cars and haven't had too much problems with "leaking bass" but I noticed its a lot harder to get bass into the cabin depending on where the enclosure is mounted in those massive trunks

Alright, I think im going to get some dynamat. Im seeing prices on eBay for alot cheaper than on the dynamat website. I do have a question:

Alright, so if you put dynamat in your car, it will cut out the sound/bass from excaping? Well dont you want all of your bass to be exposed so people outside your car can hear it?

Also - does the trunk kit come with the roller, or do I not even need one?

is this a serious question?

if it is serious, then it all depends on why you have a system.

if you have one, so you can enjoy your music on a different level than a stock system can produce, then no, you want as little sound to escape as possible.

if you have a system, so you can drive around like an idiot with your bass cranked all the way up showing off how much of a tool you are to everybody that DOESN'T care, then yes, you want your bass to be exposed to all the innocent bystanders around you.
