Look for one that does its rated power, fits budget, and reliable.

no such thing as a sound quality amp, a watt is a watt. those are all good choices for amp brands though.

The Zapco and Audison. Also throw Tru Technology into that grouping.

I would say zapco, but there really arent such things as SQ or SPL amps....only subs and speakers. Zapco seems to be good quality as well as Tru like Squeak said

A Watt is a watt, but an amp doesn't just toss out perfects watts. High quality amps put out much more watt, and much less crap, so they have good THD and S/N ratings. That makes them better than others.

As to the original question, it depends on which Zapco/Audison amps you are comparing. If they are the same high end, they will both be **** good. Eclipse makes really nice amps as well though, but their best isn't as good as the best of Zapco and Audison IMO.

Yeah, Eclipse is decent but it is nothing compared to Zapco, and if you really want a ncie amp, go with kicker!
