Sound for Monitors

you can hook up audio to your kenwood. There is an aux in when you use their adapter... But, I'm not even sure if that's what you're asking?

I was wanting to know if there was anyway to hook a sub and 2 4x6s to a monitor. The monitor would be used for some type of gaming console. Im a complete newb to the world of video in cars as you can tell. Actually if it helps just show me what I need so I can put a monitor in my 97 Expedition to play some games on.

That model has a pair of aux rca inputs for playing dvd/game console audio

motorized, detachable face

multicolor dot-matrix display

CR-2 tuner

18 FM/6 AM presets

seek tuning

plays CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs

plays MP3 and WMA files

System Q EX Sound Control

3-band parametric equalizer

System E's+ crossover system

source tone memory

SIRIUS tuner controls (SIRIUS Radio subscription, tuner, and antenna required to receive the satellite radio signal) service is available only in the lower 48 states, not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories

HD Radio-ready (will control Kenwood's HD Radio tuner, available in 2004)

CD changer controls

dual zone audio control -THIS MEANS YOU HAVE AUX IN-

5-volt front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs

Amplifier Management System (AMS) controls

optional auxiliary input-THIS ALSO MEANS YOU HAVE AUX IN-

wireless remote

clock

22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels

CD frequency response 10-20,000 Hz

CD signal-to-noise ratio 110 dB

FM sensitivity 9.3 dBf

Your problem is that you have a cd player and nothing to play dvds and nothing with aux video input, at the link below you will find nice all in one systems that will work with you head unit and allow you to connect a gaming console.

the yellow rca, from game console goes to screen, red/white rca from game console goes to aux in on your Head Unit, if equiped with AUX

My pioneer HU has a special connector that uses the connector for the cd changer which allows for an aux. audio input. maybe kenwood has the same thing?
