Sound Distortions While Using AUX???

HI!

I have a 2012 Cruze, Stock head unit, Every time I plug my phone into the AUX it works fine. But if I plug my phone into an USB adapter cigarette lighter to charge I get really loud distortions that sounds like I'm being attacked my the Matrix. I did some looking and heard a good Crossover might help but haven't heard of this specific issue before.... Any suggestions? Thanks for the help!

USB is a hotter source. Does it do it at low volume?

It does, if the AUX cored is in the phone, as soon as I plug the charger in the noises start even if nothing is playing.

Bad ground on the USB

The power supplies for 5v chargers are normally very noisy, inline filters will probably help
