i have a 2.8 cubic foot enclouser 1.4 per with 2 12 inch ts-306c pioneers and it says to put sounddeading material inside the box on all sides . now i would not gave this a second look until i noticed that the subs are missing some clarity at higher volumes. not that this speaker is that great but i have had better sound coming from the lower versions the blue 301c 12 inch. what is the point to the sound deading what does it do really when its put inside a box

100% sure i know how to read im not new to car audio just new to that it says on the diagram for all box enclosure to add sound deading material check it out on pioneer web site:mad:
calm down man... he was trying to help.

im willing to bet they meant polyfill, as sound deadening the box itself would do absolutly nothing. sound deadening comes in many forms, including polyfill //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

what exactly does the pioneer website say? im not going to sign up just to read it.

i am not able to show a pic of sheet that says sound deadening but it has a pic showing a .17 inch layer on all sides . if pioneer can not display that it meant polyfill and how much to put in than there is something wrong. I didnt think it would do much to put soundening being that poly fill like 70 %would flaten out some spikes in frequency range.which i planned on doing. thanks again for the input
