sound deadening..

i have a 00 s10 and i do street beat....but i'm wondering if i put some kind of deadener in my doors and possibly roof....would it help or hurt me?

It would help but don't go with dynamat. Either do rammatt or second skin

alright...i was just wondering cause i know its supposed to make it louder but ive heard of it making ppl lose dbs in certain cars....but idk.... and are those stick ons or some kind of sludge or what?

yes a properly deadened car can gain a few dbs, important when your competing. Personally i suggest doing the whole car when some a mat maybe multiple layers.

on a budget go with rammatt if your not get a multilayer solution from secondskin

if yall dont MIND me asking.....what second skin products would you suggest for my vehicle. and how much in gallons and whatnot? i have 2 L7 15s btw if that makes any difference.

you can get a roll of raamat for 118 before shipping i think when i ordered a roll of that and 2 yards of ensolite i paid like 160ish shipped which was awesome. i havent installed it yet so i cant give my own personal review on it but have only heard great things about the product. second skin is probably the best stuff on the market however(i havent used so just going by what i have read) and thats why it is so expensive. dynamat is great too. i have actually used it. i have 4 sq ft per door in my car as of right now and it helped out a tremendous amount. im just waiting for the weather to warm up before i add probably roughly around 20 more sq ft to each door //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but on a budget i would say raamat is the way to go plus they have great customer service and these days you cant put a price on that

if i went with the second skin sludge is that all i'd need? or do i need something else...cause the price doesnt look too bad. i was gonna do my 3 doors and the other panel(where the door would be)......so about how many gallons do i need?
