sound deadening

man my trunk rattles hardcore, i need to fix it and i was wondering if there were any cheap alternatives to dynamat (its soo **** expensive:banghead: ) plus ive got some factory sound deadener behind the back seats on the wall that separates the trunk from the cab, will this make a difference cause my subs used to rattle my teeth out when they were in my cutlass and my truck now they sound unclear and weak, could this be caused by my amp sort of dying and going down on power? and i took out the rear4 4x6;s in order to get the bass into the cab area because there is some serious air flow goin on there, does this help or no? well pleas help me cause i need help bad, i get my liscence in 21 days and my system needs to be in tip-top condition, see my problem?

SD the hell out of your trunk and rip out the factory SD material on the back of the back seats. the more you SD the trunk the more sound you will hear inside. i used asphault sheeting and rubberized under coating, and expandable foam for my car (camry), but alot of people like:

brown bead, rammat, vblock.... the list goes on and on do a search on this forum and im SURE youll pull a whole lot of threads. good luck!

YEP SD means sound deaden , sorry i abbreavate too often.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif prob. because i cant spell worth a da*n. if your worried about looks ripping out the material on the back of your seats, rip it out then put a layer of matching fabric over the area to clean it up.
