Sound deadening removal.

Ok so I have new plates coming in within this week. What's the best way to remove Qmat from the back of my plate ? I was thinking maybe throw it in the freezer ? Any easy ways lol I know this stuff is a pain once it's on. Any help would be great.

Dry ice and a hammer.
Really. I have access to dry ice. I would just leave it on my license plate but the great state of maryland would probably give me a fine for doing so. Defacing state property lol. I was thinking maybe a heat gun and kinda scrape it off and then was thinking cold should work also. Least is on a part I can easily take off. Thanks.
