Sound deadening for the 1st time

Well I'm fed up with all the rattles in my car. I have a $150 budget to spend on sound deadening. Give me suggestions on what buy and any sound deadening tips you have for a hatchback. I want to do my trunk and both front doors and If I have anything left possibly the trunk floor. Does removing trunk panels make a big difference overall or should I put them back after ?

what car do you have?

anyways, i would suggest you go to secondskinaudio.com and look into the damplifier. It is the best sounddeadener out there. better than dynamat and cheaper. I would suggest you get a shop pack (80 sq ft) and some more....

there is a 20% discout if you join their forum (it's free) ususally in a small hatchback, a door usually takes 8-10 sq ft of sounddeadener (do you have back doors?) if so i would suggest doing them over the floor. if not use about 20 sq ft for both front doors. about 30 sq ft for trunk. and about 40 for the entire floor.

so buy a 80 sq ft and a bit more...it'll be like $20 more than your budget...

Car is a 95 Integra . Its pretty old so it rattles like crazy, but the nice part about it is that everything is very easy to remove and put back again.

you coud always go for ED's stuff too, the Edead v1 is $0.80 sqft, i have no idea just how good it is or bad for that matter. They also have different types which are thicker and a little more expensive.
