sound deadener on kicks

I made some kicks or similar should I say for my truck. Pretty much just a kick panel molded onto the door panel anyways ive read some stuff about getting the spray sound deadener and spraying the inside with it. Is this worth it sound wise or will it actually do more bad than good. I could be wrong but the way I looked at it it would actually do more bad than good.

I never deadened my kicks, and I don't have intentions on doing so. People that have done it say that they didn't tell a difference.

If your kicks are really thin (aka you wouldn't be comfortable standing on them) you probably should either add more fiberglass, or maybe deaden it. But this is really only if you have a lot of midbass or ~50-70hz from the speakers.

They are fairly thin but I dont have much midbass so I guess I should be good. Im using a set of the mtx tx 6001 components.

Adidas hit it on the head. If you are expecting low midbass from them, you might want to try some deadener. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
