sound dampening

I have a 84 chevy s-10 that i am putting a small (300w) system in. I already have everything in place, but when i gave it a test, the doors rattled badly. what are the best products for this application?

Jmac - i have no idea how Steve got Flipped over on brokerage fees for his 17pound package.. I only paid 58$ cdn brokerage for a 69 pound package from Arizona to Manitoba.. It was second skin btw

Unfortunately, you'll pay out the *** for secondskin because it's in the US ... I believe Steve (SS3079) payed something like $108 in duties just to get it across the border ...

 

PM Steve (SS3079), he knows damping material better than I do, so he should know some good cheap stuff that you can find in Canada ...

You dont have to pay very much at all now...ANT figured out how to send it as a gift - so I was the only one who got ***** I'm just under 30 minutes from the border, but I dont want a PO box for the 3 times a year I would be using it.

Brown Bread or Second Skin may be the cheapest in Canada right now - there is makeshift material at the Home Depot I think, but apparently it smells...

What are the best types of sound deadening and where can I find them?

you can find them under the search button. this has been asked a 1000 and 1 times and there is no "best" sound deadener. some are better than others and more flexible for use. many believe Second Skin is the best b/c the owner is on this site and gives a good price on it. i prefer Dynamat but it's expensive.

Steve - Ant sent me skin as a "gift" thru UPS, and the guy said it didn't matter. I still had to pay border fees.

Yeah...but they were a lot less than mine because of it. That and the fact that I paid border fee's on the MSRP, which was $250 USD.
