sony xplodes and senior ball

well i took a limo, along w/ 10 other ppl, to senior ball and the sound system accually sounded nice there were two sony xplodes 6.5" that were visable and there was a sony xplode pentagon in the back (i think 12") and at low volumes it sounded pretty nice now ive heard them be4 and they sounded like crap, was it the box or are they good at low volumes or what?

no the prom was awesome, except my stomach hurt the whole time,

i was just sorta surprised that they had that, it did accually sound nice it was a good balance

oddly enough, a couple of people rock 2 of the 12" pentagons from wal mart around here and its not half *** bad for the price, ill stick to my re though

ive got one sony 12" and its ok, plus my box is shitty and too small b/c i had limited space. my friend had 2 12" sonys in the back of his explorer and they were real nice for what he paid.

Sony is not THAT bad, like you have been led to believe. The majority of those saying "sony is shit" have either never heard sony in a good install or are just repeating what others have said. Yes, in a decent install, sony can sound quite good... People all too often put their emphasis on equipment, and I all too often see threads asking about "whats best?"- between 5 subs of similar quality... then everyone gets in a heated argument over specs and "whats slightly better" instead of stopping to think, 'any of these can sound good in a good install.'
