Question for the audio veterans

It seems to me the term "Old School" is starting to be used very loosely around these forums. What do you guys consider old school when it comes to car audio? I gotta laugh when I see these kids talk about equipment from the late 90's being old school! I would like for there to be some kind of a standard for these noobs to follow. Okay gotta go chase some kids off my lawn. LOL.

Needs to be ten years or older, I'd think...nothing made in the 2000's is "old school" yet. And needs to have a characteristic that make it still valuable for someone to use that far into the future. But for someone that doesn't keep a piece of equipment and always "upgrades" to the latest and greatest, you can see the misunderstanding //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
