Originally posted by rmassalene i say if you have thhis kind of money to spend, buy an ECLIPSE HU. right now i hava a Pioneer 6300, but am changing to an eclipse. Pioneer is a great deck, but I have become a firm believer in Eclipse products.

Well I am going with a pioneer Premier P640. I like the looks sound, the ft and rear bass/treble controlls, rotary volume, "fishies", and ability to change rear to a sub out put, makes for a great HU IMO.

Good Choice. I love mine. Lots of cool little adjustments to play around with and it works great. I've never had a problem with it either. A buddy of mine had to send his sony back because it just crapped out on him and my other friend got an Alpine with a burnt up internal amp from the factory. Man was he pissed!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well just before I buy it from the local shop, I am gonna take in a scratched as **** CD and see if it will play correctly. If not then its understandable, but a few disks are taken in.
