Yep, they will tend to do that on you - along with every little bump in the road!

Thats weird that you all say sonys skip i have the cheapest sony you can get just because i got my othe one stolen and the thing never skips and i dont think it will either when i am bangin with my brahma in the back

You are one lucky guy if your sony doesnt skip...even the top models I have owned tended to skip over potholes and bass beats.

i think it goes lower level sony better skip protection but sound crappy higher level less skip protection but sound better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Well I am going with a pioneer Premier P640. I like the looks sound, the ft and rear bass/treble controlls, rotary volume, "fishies", and ability to change rear to a sub out put, makes for a great HU IMO.

Yep, good choice. You'll love it;)

Good Choice. I love mine. Lots of cool little adjustments to play around with and it works great. I've never had a problem with it either. A buddy of mine had to send his sony back because it just crapped out on him and my other friend got an Alpine with a burnt up internal amp from the factory. Man was he pissed!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well just before I buy it from the local shop, I am gonna take in a scratched as **** CD and see if it will play correctly. If not then its understandable, but a few disks are taken in.
