hello,

can anyone recone my 9515 sub ? i was just testing it and tore the entire cone apart. the coils are still good.

sorry, that's not how that works from DD. They send you a kit which has coils, cone, spiders, etc ready to go.

I guess it's possible to get a cone, surround, and dustcap and attempt it.

good luck man. you're too late to call DD today also.

yea, dd is closed by now..... it just happened. the surround is good to the cone just tore up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but i guess the surround and cone come together.

cj407 : if i can't get anyone local then maybe we can work something out. i really wanted it for the weekend.

i have no idea. i was metering my 2 9515's together and one just tore apart.

it is the d- series so it is kind of old..... i guess it was its time

the coils might have looked good and not smell burnt but there can be a gap in the coil or just where part of the coil is open...only way to tell is to test the terminal leads with a dmm...

nope...i use a different type of ca then does DD and it comes out looking better and stronger...idk the charge of like maybe $20+ shipping to you if recone and sub are shipped to me.

finally.... when would i have to send u the money by to get this done b 4 sunday.

i was hopping someone a bit closre would be able to do it. its proabably gonna cost me a ton in gas to drive 5 hrs to u and back.
