someone explain this to me

so i watch alot of home improvment show and i see everyone always using the impact drivers( http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00911483000P?vName=Tools&cName=Portable+Power+Tools&sName=Drills) instead of regular drills. what is so special about the impact driver over the regular drill. does it make that big of a difference? i am thinking about getting one and seeing but wanted to know what anyones experience useing one vs a regular drill.

Their nut drivers. More power. Eaiser to drive screws and shit.

That you can do more than just screw a few screws, and drill a couple holes, you can use it for nuts, bolts, anything that requires alot of torque, since this has *** loads more torque than your standard 19.2v craftsman drill has!!
