Some wiring questions

POWER WIRE:

What crimps are everyone using? What tool can I buy to crimp the terminals? I'm not good with soldering and have never used anything but screw on 1/0 terminals. Also, what terminals will fit the 1/0 KnuKoncepts wire?

SUB to factory head unit:

How do I do this in my '06 Charger, high/low converter?

Is there any way to lower the bass from the stock head unit's equalizer?

Thanks!

i whent to a local electrical store and got some 2/0 terminals. then iused the back side of my bolt cutters to crimp them. have been holding for over a year now no problem. i also used my bench vice to crimp them some more

I put my 0 gauge wire in, put it on the cement ground. Take some hard swings at the end of it with a hammer. Just make sure your wearing a glove to lessen the vibrations if you accidently hit the cement.

Mines been holding for.... 5 months with no problems. I did this KNU Flex 0.

Then put on something to cover it if you want like electrical tape or w.e

As for terminals, I just went to a local parts store and got some of the ?brass? ?aluminum? ?copper? ones that run for 2 bucks a pop under discount - welding stuff.

They can hold more than ~300A.

These are the best to crimp 1/0 IMO...

Another possibility is what I do. I have a small butane torch. I heat and fill the connector 1/2 way with solder. I then insert the bared copper end into the connector and keep the torch on it for about 30 seconds. I've never had one fail.
