Some old soundstream amp questions

So i got a question for you all. I just came upon 3 old soundstream amps: mc245, d200, and a d100. I have 2 questions.

1. what would be the best amps of these three to run 4 6.5 eclipse door speakers and 2 10" boston acoustics subs?

2. Will the 245 sound better that the d200 or the d100 because it is a stereo amp rather than mono? (Maybe i'm too young, but i've never heard of a mono amp, other than a sub amp)

The D100 and D200 are not mono. They are theoretically a dual mono design but are stereo amps, they each have two channels. The MC245 is designed for exactly what you are describing though. It is a 5 channel amp. One of the first "system" amps with front and rear channels and a dedicated subwoofer channel. It isn't going to power the hell out of the subs but it will do a decent job on them. Back when the amp was made (late 80's, early 90's) 100w was plenty for a sub because the subs were much more efficient. They had to be because power was expensive.

D100 and D200 or D100 II and D200 II ( the originals have a barrier strip, the newer ones let you strip a wire and put it in).

I've owned all 4 amps, the 245 will do what you are looking for, but the D200 will have more power for bass.

well, i decided to use the 245 for the interior speakers and the d200 for the subs. I guess it actually works out pretty good cause the subs are older than dirt too. But for a total cost of 175 bucks for 3 amps and 2 10 subs, i can't complain. thanks for your input!
