some help on mtx and kicker

i have a mtx421d mono amp. i pushes about 420W @ 1 2ohm load. i was wanting to wire 2 kicker comp vrs DVC 4omh speakers but that will either give me a 1 or a 4 omh load. i realize i could get a 2 ohm load out of 2 DVC 2ohm speakers but i cact get them in the box i want. can any one give me some advice?

I don't understand by you saying you can't get them in the box you want? Does that mean you're buying the speakers in the box already?

personally if you're buying new I would say get the 2ohm versions and either build or buy a box. Several people here make them, I adise talking with InhumanAcura, he can build and ship you a nice box. Either that or buy the ones you want and be happy underpowering them until you can buy an amp that's 1 ohm stable or puts out the best power for your speakers at 4 ohms.

if your talking about our (Kicker) premade boxes, they come in 2 and 4 ohm loads...

yeah the kicker premade boxes are what im talking about but im not wanting to buy the from a dealer and pay top dollar i just wanted to get them on ebay and i can only find them in 4ohm.

Buy two of your 2ohm comp vr's the buy the box.
