some help getting started

im new to the car audio world and i just want something that sounds nice for relativly cheap. my car is an '88 Caddilac Brougham and its only got 4 speakers made into it. i wanna get a sub but not before i get the speakers to not ****, any advice on cheap yet still pretty good quality (not competition) speakers and tweeters. advice on amps and subs would help too. thanks.
